September 5 Pickup/Delivery Service
Hattie’s Garden delivery/pickup service continues to bring you fresh and wholesome food. We are now taking orders for the Saturday, September 5 Service.
The deadline for placing your order is Tuesday at 8PM. We suggest you place your order as soon as possible to be sure you get what you want, as we do run out of some things.
What’s Available through the Online Order System
The following items are available now to order for pickup or delivery on Saturday, September 5.
Hattie’s Garden is happy to bring young mixed lettuce to you this week. We will bring you more salad items soon.
We continue to bring you beautiful pints of cherry tomatoes. We have an abundance of gorgeous basil, and are offering a one pound size of loose basil at a discount for those of you who would like to put up some pesto this year. We also have plenty of lemongrass now and don’t forget about our hard-neck purple-striped garlic for your pesto and other needs.
We are happy to bring to you Sugar Baby Watermelons from Dittmar Family Farms. They also have Kennebec white potatoes and Red Pontiac potatoes. Both varieties are good all-round cooking potatoes. Dittmar has just prepared another batch of their free-range chicken for you and these chickens are nice-sized, weighing more in the 4 lb range and tender as can be. They also have chicken liver. (The chicken products are frozen.)
Fresh Harvest has nice hydroponic salad ingredients, and Totem Farms has wonderful produce, herbs and microgreens. There’s also delicious free-range chicken eggs from Twin Post, fresh-to-order gourmet food from Nancy’s Cafe, a great assortment of fresh mushrooms from King Mushrooms, more than 50 types of homemade jams & jellies from Backyard Jams and Jellies, Alaska Cod, Alaska Rockfish, Coho and Sockeye Salmonn from AlaskaWild Seafoods, fresh honey from Chrissy’s Bees, and fresh cheese from Chapel’s Country Creamery.
Watch for our email late Monday afternoon / early Tuesday morning for what is available during the week for pickup on Wednesday (September 2) and Thursday (September 3) from 10 to 1. That list differs a bit from our order form list as things change here on a day to day basis.
