Second Week Service
After a great start, we are happy to launch into our second week, providing you with locally made and grown, healthy food selections from small local vendors and farmers. The order form for the Saturday, December 8 delivery/pickup service is now online.
If you are joining us for the first time, welcome aboard. Simply follow the instructions on our order form for some of the freshest food available to you. From handcrafted jellies and jams, handmade & farmstead cheese, fresh Pennsylvania mushrooms, local produce to flash frozen wild salmon from a family operation in Alaska, we hope we have something you will enjoy.
Remember to order early as some items are sure to sell out. And please remember the deadline for ordering is Wednesday at noon.
What’s New This Week
-
Hattie’s Garden will be selling gourmet hard-neck garlic. Hard neck garlic has more flavor and complexity than its readily available soft neck variety you find in the grocery store. We hope you will try some.
-
Beginning this week, we will be including Bay Blue cheese from Chapel’s Country Creamery in addition to the other six varieties we carry. This cheese is a delicious natural-rind, beautifully veined blue Stilton-style variety with creamy undercurrents.
-
We will be carrying five herbal tea blends from Plant Wisdom Within. The flavors are Relax (calming & soothing), Invigorate (an enlivening & stimulating blend, Transform (relieves tension), Protect (bolster your defenses) and Nourish (nutritive blend).
-
Jen from Flying Squirrel Gardens will be gone for two weeks, returning to take your orders in time for Christmas for the December 22 service.
If you have any questions at all, please email Hattie directly for a prompt answer.
Yours in the garden throughout the winter,
