Sauteed Hakurei Turnips
Hakurei Turnips are marvelous small white salad turnips that can be eaten raw or cooked lightly. I like to steam them to bring out the sweetness.
Ingredients
- Bunch Hakurei Turnips
- Olive Oil
- Garlic
Instructions
- Clean turnips and leave turnip and leaves together
- Split any large turnips once
- Steam with 1/2 inch of water for 10 minutes
- While steaming, sautee garlic in olive oil
- Toss drained steamed turnips in your olive oil and garlic
- Enjoy
