Easy olive oil/garlic recipe for Red Russian Kale
Ingredients
- 1 bunch of washed Kale with larger stems removed
- Olive Oil
- Clove or two of garlic, chopped or crushed
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Coarsely chop Kale
- Place in pan with 1/2 inch water and steam for 10 minutes
- In saute pan, lightly brown garlic in olive oil over medium heat
- Drain Kale and add to sauteed garlic in olive oil
- Toss until well coated
- Season
Notes
Be careful not to smoke olive oil when sauteing. Olive oil is great for cooking and I use it all the time, but it has a low burn temperature and can be easily ruined by applying too much heat.
