What’s Available from Hattie
As we enter the heat of this week and moving forward into the summer, we are changing our hours so that we open an close an hour earlier. New hours beginning this week are 9 to 2 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The following freshly harvested produce will be available during our new open hours at the Garden and at the HLFM on Saturday.
- Unagi Cucumbers — These delicious cucumbers are spineless and a hybrid Middle Eastern Beit Alpha x Japanese long variety that we love. Small seed cavities and thin skins make them perfect for all cucumber uses.
- Hardneck Garlic — Hardneck garlic has a stronger, more interesting flavor than softneck garlic, and the larger cloves are easier to peel.
- Young Arugula — Triple-washed and bagged.
- Young Mixed Lettuce — Triple-washed and bagged.
- Swiss Chard — Tender young bunches. Cooks quickly and is delicious.
- Basil — Freshly cut. At the Garden only.
- Chives — Freshly cut.
- Flat ‘Gigante d’Italia’ Parsley — Full of fresh flavor that lifts any dish. Freshly cut.
