What’s Available from our Other Vendors
The following produce and food items from our vendors are available to purchase during our open hours at the Garden on Thursday and Saturday, or through the Saturday Pickup/Delivery Service (deadline for placing your order is Tuesday at 8 PM).
- Flying Squirrel Garden — Freshly baked, seasonal fruit pies, made with all organic ingredients. Although they are not on our order form, if you know you would like one, please let Hattie know via email so she can order an appropriate number of pies for Saturday. Both 6″ and 9″ pies will be available for first come customers and those who email ahead. Fruit should be peaches, perhaps blueberries and cherries. All pies are absolutely delicious and taste more like fruit and less like the organic cane sugar sparingly included in each to achieve a perfect fruit pie.
- AlaskaWild Seafoods — Smoked Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Alaska Cod and Pacific Rockfish from Alaska sustainably managed waters.
- Chapel’s Country Creamery — Bringing you their new free-range pork and ground beef, as well as a wonderful assortment of fresh cheese from grass fed cows.
- Dittmar Chicken — Chicken liver and whole chickens.
- Twin Post Farm — Free-range chicken eggs.
- Stag Run — First of the season delightful crisp Ginger Gold apples! This early variety discovered in Virginia in the 60s is thought to be a cross of Golden Delicious and Pippin. This apple’s crispness is accompanied by a sweet, slightly tart flavor and is delicious eating out of hand, and browns slowly when cut, so is popular for salads, etc. Stag Run is also the home to Chrissy Bee’s honey, and we carry their signature Butterbean Honey as well as their popular Wildflower Honey.
