Plant Sale Rescheduled
Dear Gardeners,
Due to the impending rain storms, our original plans for a plant sale at Hattie’s Garden on Friday, May 16, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., is rescheduled to Sunday, May 18, from noon to 3 p.m.
We apologize, but this particular rain event does look imminent. It also looks to be of significant duration with high winds, potential lightning and thunder to warrant a reschedule!
On the other hand, both Saturday and Sunday look very much like the calm after the storm. We will have plants at the Historic Lewes Farmers Market (HLFM) from 8 to noon on Saturday, and again, at the garden on Sunday.
Although we will bring some of everything to the HLFM, there is a limited amount we can carry. We hope Sunday is a good alternative for most of you. And remember the Sunday sale won’t begin until noon so that we have a chance to properly display all our plants.
We look forward to seeing you at some point this weekend!
Don’t forget to come early to the market (we start at 8 a.m.) to take advantage of all the great produce and other items. The earlier you come, the nicer you will find the selections from all the vendors.
Yours in the garden and at the table…
