Next delivery is Wednesday, December 30. Deadline for ordering Sunday at Noon!

This is a reminder the deadline for placing an order for your New Year’s celebrations, as well as for the following week, is Sunday (tomorrow) at noon for delivery / pickup service on Wednesday, December 30. Our next delivery / pickup service is not until Saturday, January 9 when we return to our normal schedule.

We hope you are all enjoying your holidays and also eating very well! We are still hard at work this winter bringing you lots of fresh local produce and other locally prepared food.

If any of you are buying meat through Bohemia Lea that you would like to cook on Thursday for the holidays, let me know and I will begin the thawing process for you by placing it in the refrigerator when I receive it Tuesday afternoon.

Davidson’s mushrooms will not arrive until mid-morning Thursday, January 31. If you would like to order mushrooms, you may wish to plan on picking up your entire order on Thursday beginning about noon. We will plan to be open both Wednesday and all day Thursday for your convenience.

Note that all orders will be ready on Wednesday and will just need the addition of mushrooms where applicable.

Finally, let’s not forgot the delightful oysters we are so happy to provide from Chinky Oyster Co.

These are the freshest, most delicious oysters ever. If you’re holding back on ordering oysters because you do not know how to open them, or do not have an oyster knife, please let me know. I can help you obtain the appropriate knife for these type of oysters, as well as give you a demonstration. We became oyster “shuckers” overnight and were astounded at how easy it was.
