May 2, 5, 7 & 9 Plants for Sale
Stop by Hattie’s Garden on May 2, 5, 7 and 9 for spring plants for sale. This week we are adding a downy mildew resistant Genovese basil with great flavor. We will also have fresh cut arugula, mixed lettuce, young pea tendrils and freshly harvested chives.
Our plants are coming along beautifully—vibrant, well-established, and ready to settle in once they’re planted. To kick things off this week, we’ll have heirloom tomatoes, hybrid tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, sweet peppers, hot peppers, eggplants, and herbs, along with a selection of our flowers. Additional varieties will be added each week as they reach peak readiness.
Please note: The early stretch of warm weather in April gave our tomatoes, eggplants, and peppers a strong head start. They’ve developed beautifully and are ready to be planted outdoors. If you placed a reservation, now is a great time to pick up your plants. We’re also planning a smaller round of tomatoes and peppers to be ready in mid-May.
All of our plants are grown in Vermont Compost Company potting soil and are in excellent condition.
