Stop by Hattie’s Garden this Thursday, July 3, from 10 AM to 12PM for freshly-harvested produce, herbs and flowers. We will also have wild-caught salmon from AlaskaWild Seafood and eggs from Beach Dog Farms. Note: New hours are now from 10 AM to 12 PM.

Since I’m only open one morning a week, I also offer a self-serve option for those who need a bit more flexibility. If you’d like to use the self-serve system, please email me or text me at 302-841-1896 to reserve your produce, herbs, flowers, eggs and fish ahead of time.

Available Produce, Herbs and Flowers on July 3

On July 3 we will have the following produce, herbs and flowers available. We will have more of your favorites to come as the garden grows. Keep an eye on the weekly emails for updates on what’s ready each week.

• Shashimi Cucumbers — Small seed cavity, thin skin, large and crisp with delightful sweetness.
• Arugula — Triple-washed and bagged.
• Lettuce Mix — Triple-washed and bagged. Limited.
• Fresh-cut Basil — Sweet and aromatic; a classic, balanced flavor perfect for fresh dishes.
• Fresh-cut Chives — Perfect for garnishing potatoes, soups, salads, and egg dishes.
• Fresh-Cut Flower Bouquets — This week we have bouquets with Ageratum, Yarrow, Zinnias and Gomphrena. Each bouquet comes with flower food, and is guaranteed to last at least a week.

Directions to Hattie’s Garden

Hattie’s Garden is located at 31341 Kendale Rd in Lewes approximately 3 miles from Plantation Road (also known as Rt. 1D), coming inland on either Robinsonville Rd. or Beaver Dam Rd (Rt. 23 South).

Kendale Rd. is a short road (0.6 miles) between Robinsonville and Beaver Dam Road. The house is fifth on the left from Beaver Dam Rd, and has a large wooden fence in front of house with purple trim.

Park in the graveled area facing the fence. If you don’t see me, you may toot your horn. I could be processing things in the garage or working outside in the garden.
