Hattie’s Garden continues to bring you fresh and wholesome food throughout the winter. Our order form is now open for the Saturday, January 21 Pickup/Delivery Service.
You may stop at the Garden, located at 31341 Kendale Rd in Lewes, on Saturday from 9 to 2 for casual shopping. While we keep most items in our inventory, some items may run out, and it is best to purchase through the online order system if you want to be sure to get everything you want.
The deadline for placing your order is Tuesday at 8PM.

The following items are available now to order for pickup or delivery on Saturday, January 21 from 9 to 2.
Hattie’s Garden microgreens are back! We will have Austrian Winter Pea, Triton Purple Radish, Wasabi and Mixed (kale, kohlrabi, red cabbage and mizuna) microgreens this week. Look for arugula microgreens again beginning next week.
302 Aquaponics has great salad ingredients and fresh-cut aquaponically grown herbs. We love the Romaine Combo which is a mixed container of each variety of Romaine lettuce, and the combination Summer and Butter lettuce that contains a full head of Summer Crisp and a full head of Rex Butter in the same container.
AlaskaWild Seafood’s family-run business, has Coho Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Cajun or black pepper smoked salmon, Alaska Cod and Alaska Rockfish flash-frozen directly the pristine waters along the Kenai Peninsula coastline and flown to the east coast every week.
Dittmar Family Farms’ has pasture-raised loin and rib lamb chops, free-range whole chicken and one pound packages of chicken liver.
Enoch Farms has sustainably raised, naturally grown, heritage pork. They provide us with a nice assortment of products, including plenty of specialty sausages, and kielbasa. Their smoked bacon and pork chops are delicious. Oh, and don’t forget the scrapple!
Woodbine Farms, an offshoot of Chapel’s Country Creamery, has a nice lineup of free-range beef products, including spectacular tomahawk rib steaks, high quality shish-kebab meat, stew meat and several more selections of steaks. Their ground beef is nice and lean.
Chapel’s Country Creamery brings us incredible homemade artisan cheese, handcrafted using milk that comes directly from their pastured, grass-fed dairy cows. This week we are introducing a delicious new cheese called Otterly Pale Cheddar. Washed with Space Otter American Pale Ale from Mispillion River Brewing in Seaford, this cheese with its pale orange rind, is a slightly kicked up take on their classic Chapel Cheddar, with a classically sharp paste and a long, sweet finish. It is out of this world!
From Twin Posts, we have wonderful free-range chicken eggs.
Davidson’s Mushrooms are essential in many kitchens and winter is no exception to get your cremini, portabella, shiitake, grey oyster, maiitake, king oyster (AKA king trumpet), and Lion’s Mane (Pom pom) mushrooms.
Backyard Jams & Jellies has dozens of delicious of jams, jellies (including no-sugar options), mustards and chutneys. This week Krista is creating a winter batch of Hearty Stout Mustard. Get one now. They won’t last.
Chrissy’s Bees wildflower raw honey and Dutch clover raw honey is made by honey bees living on Stag Run Farm. The honey lightly filtered and never processed (i.e. heated) so that it may retain its wholesome properties as the bees produced it.
Jen from Flying Squirrel Garden is taking a week off from making pies, but should be back the following week.
Directions to Hattie’s Garden
Hattie’s Garden is located at 31341 Kendale Rd in Lewes approximately 3 miles from Plantation Road (also known as Rt. 1D), coming inland on either Robinsonville Rd. or Beaver Dam Rd (Rt. 23 South).
Kendale Rd. is a short road (0.6 miles) between Robinsonville and Beaver Dam Road. The house is fifth on the left from Beaver Dam Rd, and has a large wooden fence in front of house with purple trim.
Park in the graveled area facing the fence. If you don’t see us, you may toot your horn. We could be processing things in the garage or working outside in the garden.
Reminder that you do not need an appointment. Simply show up during our open hours of operation. We prefer cash or checks, but do have the capability to take credit cards if necessary.
