The following items are available now to order for the February 5 pickup/delivery service.
Hattie’s Garden continues to harvest baby carrots. These are as sweet as they come and a real gourmet treat. Don’t peel them, just eat them raw or roasted lightly. We now have available arugula microgreens and mixed microgreens in limited quantities. Once we can get back into the hoophouse in a couple of weeks, our selections will increase exponentially! The colder than normal weather has moved our operation inside where space is limited.
As mentioned last week, we have launched our Plant CSA and it will run through February. Please sign up as soon as you are able.
302 Aquaponics has plenty of aquaponically grown salad ingredients, and beautiful tilapia fish they raise as part of their aquaponics system. There are no chemicals or pesticides in their farming.

Newly introduced cheese types from Chapel’s Country Creamery are IPA Cheddar (curds of cheddar washed in Devils Backbone India Pale Ale) and Trace of Crab (a base of cheddar, with a mild hint of pepper, giving it a delicious tang).
In addition to their cheese offerings, Chapel’s has wonderful free-range pork and beef. Their pork products include large bone-in hams, sweet Italian sausage, regular link sausage, loose sausage, bacon, pork chops, and ham steaks. And last, but certainly not least, Jen from Flying Squirrel Garden will be making dessert and savory pot pies this week for you. Jen uses mostly organic ingredients in her pies, including the produce she has grown in her pesticide-free garden. The pot pies easily provide two servings and her fruit and dessert pies rival any I have ever tasted. She uses a homemade crust made with butter for all the pies and bakes garlic into the crust for her pot pies. Limit is two per customer as long as supplies last.
