Hattie’s Garden is now accepting enrollment for the Winter CSA which will run for 10 weeks beginning December 6, as well as open to sell produce harvested directly from the farm on Thursdays, between 12 and 5pm.

The CSA is a great way for our community to receive local seasonal crops after the Historic Lewes Farmer’s Market closes for the fall season. You simply pick up your produce at the farm, or if you prefer, it can be delivered for a nominal charge…it’s that easy!

The Winter CSA will contains an assortment of freshly harvested vegetables such as hakurei turnips, beets, and carrots; salad greens, such as loose leaf lettuce, mesclun and arugula; and winter greens, such as kale, swiss chard, spinach, and mustard greens. Fresh herbs will include one or more of the following: parsley, cilantro, rosemary, dill and lemongrass.

Shares will be available in two sizes: full shares (large box) and medium shares (small box) for either ten (10) weekly or five (5) alternative distributions (you pick the weeks during the CSA season) to match your family’s appetites and schedules.

The CSA has a limited numbers of shares available, so early registration is recommended.
