Cilantro & Head Lettuce Harvesting Thursday
Our cilantro and head lettuce is growing so fast that we must harvest it tomorrow morning. We will have it ready for you Thursday afternoon between 2 and 5 PM. No appointment is necessary! Simply stop by Hattie’s Garden when convenient for you during these hours on Thursday.
The head lettuce varieties include blushed butter, butterhead, Red Sails, green loose leaf lettuce, and Forellenschluss Romaine, which is some of the best tasting, soft romaine you will ever eat! And it is ready for you. We will freshly harvest it on Thursday morning and will have it washed, bagged and put on ice for you. It doesn’t get any better!
Our Calypso Cilantro is a favorite of ours with a fragrant, citrusy scent and flavor.
Amd we will also have on hand, freshly harvested spring carrots, young red beets, hakurei turnips, spinach, young swiss chard.
We still have a full line of plants for your garden and they would love a home. See our post for a list of available tomato plants, eggplants, pepper plants, squash, cucumbers, herbs including plenty of basil and our new patchouli plants, echinacea and Lemongrass. We have lots of zinnias of all sizes, including Profusion Bedding Zinnias, plenty of Marigolds and lovely heat tolerant Gomphrena.
For more information on these plants, please visit our website.
Stop by and wait in your car and we will take care of you quickly! If you want to send us a list of plants so we can pull them ahead of time, please do.
