Hattie’s Garden delivery/pickup service continues to bring you fresh and wholesome food. We are now taking orders for the Saturday, August 29 Service.

The deadline for placing your order is Tuesday at 8PM. We suggest you place your order as soon as possible to be sure you get what you want, as we do run out of some things.

The following items are available now to order for pickup or delivery on Saturday, August 29.

Hattie’s Garden is very happy to bring you young loose leaf lettuce, mesclun and arugula this week. By September we will have a regular and abundant supply of salad items. For this week, we ask that you limit your purchases so everyone has a chance at some salad!

We continue to bring you beautiful pints of cherry tomatoes. We have an abundance of gorgeous basil, and are offering a one pound size of loose basil at a discount for those of you who would like to put up some pesto this year. Don’t forget to order some of our heirloom hard neck purple-striped garlic for your pesto and other needs.

Totem Farms is introducing lots of fresh herbs this week, as well as their fresh produce, which includes red okra. They also have plenty of microgreens and peppers. Fresh Harvest has nice hydroponic salad ingredients.

Dittmar Family Farms has wonderful potatoes — white fleshed Kennebec and flavorful Red Pontiac. Both these varieties are perfect for cooking without removing the thin skin if you wish, retaining many of the vitamins and minerals. In addition, we have their whole chickens and chicken liver available.

There’s also delicious free-range chicken eggs from Twin Post, fresh-to-order gourmet food from Nancy’s Cafe, a great assortment of fresh mushrooms from King Mushrooms, more than 50 types of homemade jams & jellies from Backyard Jams and Jellies, Alaska Cod, Alaska Rockfish, Coho and Sockeye Salmonn from AlaskaWild Seafoods, fresh honey from Chrissy’s Bees, and fresh cheese from Chapel’s Country Creamery.

Watch for our email late Monday afternoon for what is available during the week for pickup on Wednesday (August 26) and Thursday (August 27) from 10 to 1. That list differs a bit from our order form list as things change here on a day to day basis.
