Welcome to Hattie’s Garden
Hattie’s Garden is a small market-garden, growing vegetables, herbs and specialty cut flowers in Lewes, Delaware. We subscribe to sustainable farming practices and use organic gardening principles, but because of our small size, we are not certified organic. However, we do grow food in an ecologically and ethically responsible manner.
May through November, Hattie’s Garden can be found at the Historic Lewes Farmers Market (HLFM). The market runs from 8 to noon through September, and 9 to noon in October and November.
We grow a variety of plants for your home garden in the spring, which include tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, herbs and flowers. We are open at the garden one day per week during much of the farmers market season.
Not sure how to prepare mustard greens? Wondering about a good way to use kale for a nice hearty soup? Craving for linguine & arugula? Check out some of Hattie’s recipes using food grown from her garden.
