Welcome to Hattie’s Garden
Hattie’s Garden is a small market-garden, growing vegetables, herbs and specialty cut flowers in Lewes, Delaware. We subscribe to sustainable farming practices and use organic gardening principles, but because of our small size, we are not certified organic. However, we do grow food in an ecologically and ethically responsible manner.
We operate a delivery service on Saturday mornings during the “off-season” when the HLFM is not in session, selling produce we grow, as well as offering a variety of produce and other authentic food from local vendors.
We grow a variety of plants for your home garden in the spring, which include tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, herbs and flowers. We are open at the garden one day per week during much of the farmers market season.
May through November, Hattie’s Garden can be found at the Historic Lewes Farmers Market (HLFM). The market runs from 8 to noon through September, and 9 to noon in October and November.

We look forward to welcoming April! Our news for this week is (1) we have rescheduled the gardening classes to mid-April because of our colder than normal weather; and (2) we will do our delivery / pickup service just twice more during the “off-season”. These dates are this Saturday, April 4 for Easter weekend and Saturday, April 18.[Read More >>]
